“Programme Manager Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) ”

Salary Package:                 Maximum   Up to PKR 150,000 plus usual benefit

Position based in:               Islamabad

This position entails the responsibility for implementing and maintaining effective and efficient programme of the RutgersWPF Pakistan. The incumbent will perform following tasks:

• Develop, manage and deliver ‘Sexual Gender Based Violence’ (SGBV) Programme (2013-2015) in Pakistan
• Planning and organizing advocacy programme for promotion of SGBV programme in Pakistan for policy reforms
• Building strategic partnerships with relevant individuals, organizations, networks and alliances for policy advocacy on referral services in Pakistan
• Ensure program Implementation and grant management in line with approved work plan
• Work to build capacity of partner organization to design and implement referral programmes for young people
• Develop training modules and technical assistance packages for awareness and increase of young people’s uptake of SRH services.
• Enhance increased cooperation between public and private services, donor agencies, resource NGOs/ formal and informal health systems to enhance quality and uptake of appropriate SRHR services for young people in target districts
• Prepare periodical progress report (financial and narratives) of the programme and give feedback to partners for timely submission of quality reports.
• Mobilize resources for GBV services  in Pakistan through proposal writing and advocacy
• Supervise and manage the GBV programme team, and ensure work plans and progress reports in line with contractual obligations and requirements of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation
• Prepare partnership related documents(contracts and budgets) of respective programme
• Participation in Planning and management forums (Monthly staff meetings, PDT, MT and Others).

Qualification and Competencies:

• Master in social science (preferably with an international degree)   
• At least 5 to 7 years experience of developing and managing SGBV Programs in development sector
• Experience of designing, project management and conducting trainings on SRHR and SGBV
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and multitasking
• Good supervisory and interpersonal and networking skills particularly with policy reforms and media
• Good leadership qualities to lead team
• Rapport with development sector stakeholders, networks outside and in the organization
• Proficient in planning, budgeting and management skills
• Excellent drafting and report writing skills in Urdu and English.
