Position: Project Manager

Major
Responsibilities:
- Management and
supervision of the project, responsible for successful planning,
coordination and implementation of project activities, including overall
responsibility of implementation – activities include market assessments
for the potential of identified income generation activities, group
formation, training in basic financial literacy, small grants management,
group savings and loan schemes.
- Responsible for
fund management – including making the best of use of available resources
and to work for mobilising additional resources (fundraising) in support
of planned and on-going work.
- Responsible for
coordination with all actors involved in the implementation of the project
– ensuring that e.g. project activities are well-coordinated with local
partners and authorities, national and international NGOs etc.
- Ensure that
contact with beneficiaries, target groups and representatives of
authorities are conducted in a sensitive and respectful manner and in
accordance with Humanitarian Accountability Partnership principles.
- Provide
facilitation in assessments, data collection, baselines, KAP etc;
- Facilitate in
the development of curriculum for training materials and facilitate
training and workshop seminars as needed.
- Regularly report
on all activities, weekly, bi-monthly & monthly with progress,
achievements, bottlenecks to document challenges and lesson learned.
- Direct and
manage project development from beginning to end.
- Liaise with
project stakeholders’ on an ongoing basis.
- Draft and submit
budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Determine and
assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the
appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
- Delegate tasks
and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and
resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Plan and schedule
project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

Skills
Required:
- Masters in Social Sciences
- More than 5
years Experience with NGOs OR INGOs in on managerial positions is

Position:
Enterprise Liaison Officer
No. of positions:
01 (based in Karachi with frequent travel to Thatta)
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop linkages of WEGs with Karachi market
- Explore, facilitate and mature orders for Women Enterprise Groups (WEGs)
- Provide direct assistance to WEGs by working with them to identify and design high market demand products.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends
- Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
- Presenting findings and suggestions to project manager
- Participate in project related meetings/trainings/workshops etc.
- Submit scheduled and/or need based daily, weekly monthly activity reports.

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation and
Accountability Learning Officer (MEAL)

Major
Responsibilities:
- Assist
in the development of a monitoring & evaluation system for the project
and indicators for input and output monitoring in line of project
objectives.
- To contribute
and provide support in developing and scaling Accountability to
beneficiaries mechanisms in developmental programs and undertake staff
capacity building on accountability system.
- Guide the
process for identifying the key performance questions and parameters
capitalizing on the existing checklists and minimum standards for
monitoring project performance.
- To contribute in
developing assessments/researches and analyzing the data for designing of
effective interventions, identifying new areas of intervention or
expanding scope of existing interventions.
- Support in the
planning and implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation
exercises for programs/projects and impact assessments and act as a
primary drafter for the final assessments/evaluation reports when needed.
- To represent organization
in coordination meeting and exchange lesson learnt.
- When needed
assist the project staff on the logical framework, data management, data
analysis, basic surveying and sampling techniques, monitoring and
evaluation methods and report writing techniques.
- Prepare
monitoring reports, analyze them for potential bottlenecks in project
implementation and follow up on the action plans agreed in order to reduce
those bottlenecks.
- To receive,
review, maintain and follow up complaints and feedback from communities
and make sure that community is aware about the use of complaint box.

to the field as required to support implementation of M&E and to

Position: Community Development Officer

Major Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Broad Based Community Meetings (BBCM) at the village level and map out community resources with community organizations and village organizations.
- Assist communities in the formation of village development plan.
- Conduct capacity building activities and the use of various tools that will support assessment, plan and proposal development, project monitoring and fund management within communities.
- Facilitate the conduct of monitoring and evaluation of project activities in coordination with M & E unit, and other related activities/visits.
- Document and submit reports as required in a timely manner to concerned bodies.
- Provide support and facilitation for the timely implementation of project activities
- Design practical, effective programs and activities that uplifts livelihood of most vulnerable and marginalized women and women headed household.
- Initiate innovative income generating activities including skill development to help alleviate poverty among targeted women.
- Supervise skill development center, activities including vocational training ,external training, capacity building and market linkages
- Playing lead role in establishing or strengthen village committees as part of the community self-management (CSM) strategy.
