Polio Graphic Designer
Qualifications
- Hands on experience in graphic design and illustrations using specific programs such as Adobe Suites.
- Established expertise in producing quality publication and promotional material art and design work.
- Expertise in translation and technical editing in English and Urdu.
- Previous work experience with UN/International organisations.
- Contractor to conceptualise each design and illustration assignment as per the
- specific requirements of the job order issued by UNICEF Communication Specialist and
- produce layouts, designs etc for each commissioned item
- Contractor to provide three distinctly different alternative concepts for each assignment
- Contractor to provide artwork on CD prepress and B/W and laser colour print
- Contractor to provide website ready version of the artwork upon request in PDF format
- Contractor to supervise and ensure quality of printing in coordination with the UNICEF supervisor
- Contractor shall ensure adequate colour correction of images and branding.
- Contractor to provides graphic design and illustration jobs based on the attached rate sheet
- Contractor shall receive written approval from UNICEF prior to finalization of each artwork.
- UNICEF to issue a job order at the beginning of each assignment. The job order will express the nature of the work, estimated cost and production timeline for each particular assignment .
- UNICEF should be informed of any changes to the terms of an agreed job order should those changes happen after the signature of the job order
- Contractor to sign the job order issued by UNICEF prior to commencement of work on each assignment
- Fees will be payable based on the estimated cost of the job order, the agreed rates and contractor’s invoice
- Contractor to observe confidentiality and refrain from divulging any information about the content of the text
- UNICEF is entitled to all the copyright of all design work
