Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Dairy and Rural Development Foundation (DRDF) is implementing the Dairy Project (funded by USA1D and other support institutions) to improve livestock productivity and thereby livelihood of rural communities through livestock and dairy development in selected project areas. The Dairy Project is looking for the services of an energetic, enthusiastic and outstanding professional for the following position:

Core Responsibilities/Duties
The incumbent shall set clear objectives, achievement indicators and logical frameworks for the Dairy Project's monitoring and evaluation processes. He/She shall lead the design and implementation of all program surveys, assessments and other baseline information generation processes. The incumbent shall monitor data collection, ensure quality of data collection and analysis, generate progress reports as per US AID requirements and shall also develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring system to measure project accomplishments. He/She will report on the Results Framework and data indicators already agreed with USAID. He/She will periodically evaluate program implementation processes and performance and recommend measures for improvement and work with external consultants. He/She shall plan the implementation process of monitoring data collection from field and shall analyze the planned indicators. He/She shall carry out program evaluation as per need and establish a comprehensive database system with effective reporting. The incumbent shall also impart training on the use of project monitoring tools to staff members.

Qualification/Eligibility:
Masters in Statistics/Econimics/Social Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University, having minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in M&E, especially in donor-funded projects. M&E experience with USAID-funded projects and familiarity with USAID requirements will be an added advantage. Proven track record of providing information and independent professional advice to the program with a view to improve the delivery process and achieve high impact outcomes. Highly skilled in data collection, compilation, analysis and reporting. Ability to work in teams and extensive travel to field is mandatory.
