Job Purpose
The objective of this position is to contribute to the
development and design of a wide range of media and communication materials to
increase the visibility of the organization according to its core values and
mission; improve design and quality of communication material for programmes.
Responsibilities
- Assist programs in the design & layout of the information and communication materials, in line with media and branding policies
- Assist media department with administrative and procurement tasks and processes
- Ensure the good quality of printed material received by providers
- Assist with conducting feedback surveys on Information & communication activities and materials produced by the organization.
- Develop and maintain the organization’s library (both physical and electronic) in the Country Office.
- Set-up a system to register and record lending of books and other material in the library
- Maintain and update the organization’s contact database.
- Assist the Media officer with media monitoring.
- Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or Fine Arts.
- Proven skills in CorelDraw and Photoshop.
- Basic/advanced concept of layout & design.
- Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
- Basic know how of Email, Windows operating system and essential software.
- High degree of motivation to learn in stimulating environment
